Scholars At Risk, a non-profit at NYU dedicated to relocating academics in troubled countries, is producing a series of handbooks. These covers are designed to coordinate and set up the organization's communications design. The object was to take the older SAR branding and put a new, more human and hopeful face on the story. The 'postcard' of each scholar and their testimonials set in handwriting makes these covers feel personal. The hopeful classroom setting and academic type styling are geared toward the institutional and academic audience that will receive the handbooks.
